People who can’t breathe need your help!
A mere fraction of sufferers get the right diagnosis. You can fix that. The Foundation for Airway Health (FAH) prioritizes widespread screening as the first critical step toward resolving the hidden epidemic of airway health problems.
We offer the public a list of professionals who have training in airway health and sleep, and promise to consider the patient’s airway when treatment planning.
The FAH (Foundation for Airway Health) is a “big tent” of professionals including allergists, cranial osteopaths, dentists, ENT’s, oral maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists, myofunctional therapists, nutritionists, physical therapists….anyone who can affect the airway and someone’s ability to breathe.
Currently only 15% of sufferers with an airway problem are recognized and treated. The Foundation has an “Airway for All”, “15/50/20” campaign. The goal is to raise the current recognized cases of airway / sleep disorders from 15% to 50% by 2020. We are looking for professionals who will take the FAH pledge and are willing to be listed as a resource for the public. No membership or fee is required.
